WUSC is coming off of its Fall Fundraiser week which featured seven public events to raise awareness for our station. We kicked off the week with a dance party at Tapps Art Center for First Thursday, featuring live mixing from all WUSC alumni. Next, we held a concert at New Brookland Tavern that showcased local artists of multiple genres as a celebration of the local art scene and all that WUSC does to support it. Our other events included a percent night at Mellow Mushroom, a karaoke and costume contest at New Brookland Tavern, an on campus bake sale, and to end our week we held an on campus rap showcase.
These exciting events, plus all our crowdfunding donors, have pushed us to 68% funded with just twelve days left! Please share why you donated to WUSC and spread the word!
