Recognizing Academic Achievement. Inspiring Future Pharmacy Leaders.

At the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, the Beta Alpha Chapter of the Rho Chi Society is dedicated to recognizing academic excellence, fostering intellectual leadership, and supporting the next generation of pharmacy professionals.

As the national academic honor society in pharmacy, Rho Chi celebrates student pharmacists who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and a commitment to advancing the profession. Students are invited to join during the spring semester of their second professional year (P2) based on their academic accomplishments, with membership extended to those ranking in the top 20% of their class.

But Rho Chi is about more than academic recognition.

As members progress through their pharmacy education, they give back to their fellow students by providing tutoring, mentorship, and academic support to first- and second-year student pharmacists. Through these efforts, Rho Chi members help others navigate challenging coursework, build confidence, and succeed in their pharmacy education.
