The Gamecock CommUnity Shop Needs You Today!
The Gamecock CommUnity Shop supports students, faculty and staff facing food insecurity and financial hardship by providing free groceries, toiletries, clothes and essential items. As more students rely on these services each semester, donations are urgently needed to keep our shelves stocked and ensure every USC student has access to nutritious meals and basic necessities. Your contribution—whether food, hygiene products, or monetary support—makes a direct impact on student success and well-being.
The need is real:
- 48% of USC students face food insecurity.
- 3 in 5 college students across the country struggle with basic needs
Last year, the Gamecock CommUnity Shop served over 12,000 student visits and other campus food pantries also work tirelessly to meet the growing demand, as we have seen a 300% increase in student visits this year.
We want everyone on campus to know they’re supported and to remove the stigma around asking for help. Your donation makes that possible.
