The USC Percussion Ensemble is heading to Indianapolis
The USC Percussion Ensemble just won the percussion equivalent of the NCAA Tournament! They need your support to make it there.
As winners of the International Percussion Ensemble Competition, the University of South Carolina Percussion Ensemble will perform at the Showcase Performance on November 14, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN, at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC).
What is PASIC?
PASIC is one of the world’s largest drum and percussion events. Imagine the coolest convention you’ve ever been to - 6,000 drummers from all over the world taking over downtown Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Convention Center. The USC Percussion Ensemble will be right in the heart of this drummer’s paradise.
USC Percussionists Among the Best in the World
This is the third time USC has won this competition, joining a small number of universities that have achieved this level of excellence including Texas Christian, Northwestern, Florida State, Eastman, and Kentucky.

Ride along to Indianapolis and drum with the USC Percussion Ensemble. Your donation will help provide students with hotel rooms, meals, and travel. But more importantly, you will help them achieve the dream of playing at the world’s most exciting percussion festival for thousands of percussion enthusiasts and fans.
One hotel room to accommodate two students for one night in Indianapolis.
Van rental for one week to take students to and from PAS Convention.
Donate travel, meals and accommodations for one student for the entire trip to the PAS Convention.
One quarter of the expenses for this trip can be covered with your donation.
This donation amount will cover half of the costs to send the USC Percussion Ensemble to PAS 2024.
This donation will cover all the costs of sending the USC Percussion Ensemble to PAS 2024.
