University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville medical students are pleased to be hosting our second Remote Area Medical (RAM®) clinic in Greer, South Carolina. This RAM Clinic will offer free medical, dental and vision services on Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19, 2024. This will be quite an undertaking, and we are seeking the financial, promotional, and volunteer support of our community to make this clinic a success. Thank you to all in advance for your support!
This is an official Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic happening March 16th-17th, 2024. Students at the USC School of Medicine Greenville have the wonderful opportunity to serve as the host group for this clinic. In addition to recruiting medical volunteers, we are tasked to fundraise to ensure that we can serve as many patients as possible. Last year was the first ever RAM clinic in South Carolina and its impact was reflected in the hundreds of individuals who received free physical exams, teeth cleanings, eye exams, sight-corrected glasses made on-site, and many more services.
We are hoping to build off last year's success and need your help! Please consider donating if you are able, any amount would be greatly appreciated!
Give $10, representing the national medically uninsured rate of10%, towards our clinic will provide free medical, dental, and vision care to our community.
This donation amount represents the average value of care provided per individual of $305
Last year, RAM health clinics provided free health care to over 21,900 individuals.
A donation of this amount would allow us to provide free medical, dental, and vision care to 5 patients.
A donation of this amount would provide care for 10 patients as well as strengthen the opportunity for us to continue serving our community for years to come
