Hello everyone!!

We hope everyone has had an amazing, food-filled, Thanksgiving! It's Giving Tuesday, and that can only mean one thing, we are in the final stretch for fundraiser month!! Thank you all so much for your efforts in supporting the station, fundraising is what keeps us alive and we appreciate all of your help!! We only have three days left, so if you haven't already, please mention the crowdfunding campaign to your friends and loved ones. Every little bit of support helps!

Speaking of support, thank you so much to those to came to the After Midnight, Bull Moose Party, and Ishani Joshi show at Hunter Gatherer! It was a very successful event and the bands had just as good a time as the people they were entertaining.

Again, thank you all so much for the support this semester, we're looking forward to our next fundraiser in the spring!! 

Hello everyone!

We’re just over a week along for WUSC’s fall fundraiser! Thank you all for the amazing support so far, we’re already about a quarter of the way to our goal! We kicked off our fall fundraiser with a show with Space Hall at Tapp’s Art Center! John Bias, Slush, and Smoke Detector totally killed it and everyone had a great time. Last Monday, we had our bake sale on the Pickens Street bridge, and on Thursday our DJ body took a group trip to Mellow Mushroom for our percent night. So many amazing people came to get their favorite fresh baked goods, made by a handful of WUSC’s very own staff members, and eat some delicious pizza! Our extremely talented Clair DeLune hosted a tribute on Saturday to celebrate the life of long-time WUSC DJ, Uncle Gram Tupelo, who passed away earlier this year. He is recognized for hosting his Americana radio show, “Red Bank Bar and Grill”, and his generous contributions to the organization, especially during fundraiser times. His time spent with us had an enormous impact on how WUSC functions and the size of the community that surrounds it today, and his influence will resonate throughout the station forever.

Haven’t made it to any of the previous WUSC fundraiser events? We have a show coming up this Friday (the 16th) at the Hunter-Gatherer Brewery and Ale House!! Come see After Midnight, Bull Moose Party, and Ishani Joshi perform live, and hangout with your favorite DJs! Music will begin at 10:00pm and tickets are only $7!!!
