Our Crowdfunding Groups
The SJMC is providing an opportunity during the Summer 2020 session to help more students gain hands-on, skill development experience. Because of COVID-19, many students are unable to work in a professional setting this summer, so we’ve created a class to help them gain some of that experience. It’s not a perfect replacement for immersing yourself in a workplace where you gain critical professional skills, build a network and more, but our award-winning faculty are striving to assist our students and continue preparing them for the future as much as possible during these difficult times. We plan for students in this class to produce work for professional clients and a public audience to ensure that they're getting as close as possible to experiencing a real professional internship.
Funds raised will go toward supporting students and making this experience possible. We're thankful to be part of such a supportive Gamecock family, lifting each other up during these times so that we can emerge strong and ready for brighter days. Forever to thee!
